Spacecraft Guidance, Navigation and Control, GN&C

David Geller is an Associate Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. His research interests include spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control (GN&C) system design, trajectory design for space missions, and optimal estimation theory. Some of his recent projects have included powered lunar descent GN&C design and analysis, angles-only navigation for orbital rendezvous, linear covariance analysis for rapid GN&C analysis, and closed-loop dynamics simulation development using traditional and graphical programming languages.
