NASA Space Technology Research Fellowships
Sponsors U.S. citizen and permanent resident graduate students who show significant potential to contribute to NASA’s goal of creating innovative new space technologies for our Nation’s science, exploration and economic future.

Utah Space Grant Consortium USU Fellowship
Up to $15,000 award. Must be US citizen to be eligible.

Nuclear Energy University Program
Must be U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident entering first or second year of graduate study.

ASEE Graduate Fellowships
ASEE (American Society for Engineering Education) lists various graduate fellowship opportunities.

National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship
Awarded to applicants who will pursue a doctoral degree in, or closely related to, an area of DoD interest within one of fifteen disciplines, which includes Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

Stewardship Science Graduate Fellowship Program
Two fellowships: Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (CSGF) and Stewardship Science Graduate Fellowship (SSGF). These programs provides excellent financial benefits and professional development opportunities to students pursuing a Ph.D. in areas of interest to stewardship science, such as high energy density physics, properties of materials under extreme conditions and hydronamics, or nuclear science.

NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program
The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) or in STEM education. The GRFP provides three years of support for the graduate education of individuals who have demonstrated their potential for significant research achievements in STEM or STEM education. NSF especially encourages women, members of underrepresented minority groups, persons with disabilities, veterans, and undergraduate seniors to apply.

Hertz Foundation Graduate Fellowship Award
This highly competitive, merit-based fellowship is for up to five years. Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident in the first year of graduate studies.
