MAE's Aaron Katz recently received a grant from the Office of Naval Research for over $400,000.
Dr. Steven Folkman has been monitoring ADS and DuroMaxx pipes for 3 years through the Buried Structures Lab. The purpose was to measure DuroMaxx pipe deflection in comparison to conventional pipes. (See page 2 of newsletter for details.)

Dr. Whitmore and his students found a new method of igniting “green” propellants. Their research was presented at the Small Satellite Conference and featured in Aviation Week magazine.
