A record number of 21 University Research Fellows were among the 2,200 students awarded bachelor's degrees May 8 at Utah State University.
For the past two years, students in Dr. Tony Whitmore's senior design class have had the opportunity to work on the USU Chimaera Rocket team as part of the NASA ESMD. The Rocket team won the ESMD sponsored USLI competition both years.

Qi Wang and Zheng Ye, both Mechanical and Aerospace PhD students, presented papers at the 51st AIAA/ASME/ASCE/AHS/ASC Structures, Structural Dynamics, and Materials Conference in Orlando, Florida
Blake Rusch was selected as the College of Engineering Valedictorian for the Spring 2010 graduation.
Blake is graduating with both his BS and MS degrees concurrently in Mechanical Engineering.
Steven Nelson, MS student in Mechanical Engineering, was selected a the recipient of a Seely-Hinckley Scholarship for 2010-11.
