Development of accurate and efficient numerical methods for violent interfacial problems
Diploma in CE from NTUA (Greece). Ph.D. in ME from MIT. Prior to joining USU, was Postdoctoral Associate (2010-2013) and Research Engineer (2013-2017) in ME at MIT.
Ultimate goal is to combine research and teaching students of different levels and educational backgrounds, both in classroom as well as advising. Main topics of interest include fluid dynamics, applied mathematics, numerical analysis, and computational fluid dynamics.
Key aim of the research is to provide fundamental understanding of canonical, non-linear, violent free-surface flows by developing efficient and accurate computational models and providing rigorous interpretations of validated simulation results.
